A more suburban but slower route would be Toorak Rd - Burwood Highway - Belgrave - Emerald - Cockatoo - Gembrook. A more scenic route would be to take the Monash Freeway M1 to Mulgrave. Turn left signposted Wellington Road. Continue to end roundabout at Clematis pub. Turn right to Emerald - Cockatoo - Gembrook.
